Polaris Quad Bikes

Ease of use has made them very popular among new riders with their fully automatic transmission called the Polaris Variable Transmission (PVT).  This transmission has set Polaris apart from other quad manufacturers and has been one of the key factors in their growth.  The PVT installed on Polaris quad bikes works in the same way as an automatic transmission in a car, where the transmission is constantly adjusting itself based on speed and torque, switching gears as necessary to provide the power needed for whatever terrain is being driven upon.

Polaris quad bikes start out with the small, fun Predator at 50cc and span a range all the way up to the 800cc Sportsman and Polaris X2, giving them one of the largest and most complete line-ups in the ATV world. 

The Polaris quad line-up consists of the Sportsman models, which are mainly employed for agricultural and industrial uses, while the Predator and Outlaw quads are more suited to racing.  For riders looking for a mix of work and play in a quad, Polaris makes the Sawtooth and the Trail Boss models.  Both models combine all the features expected in a quad bike built for work, while incorporating some of the handling of the sports model.  The Polaris Sportsman 6x6 is a unique model.  It has the appearance of a 4 wheeled quad bike but has 2 extra wheels and a dump box that can handle up to 800 lbs.
